Experienced Boston Attorney

A lawsuit is not a game — the stakes are too high — but our legal system is an adversarial one, where the quality and determination of your attorney can make all the difference in the world. Your lawyer has to use his education, training, skill, experience, intelligence and imagination to identify, gather and present the most powerful evidence available to you, to craft persuasive, common-sense arguments, and to spot and highlight the weaknesses in your opponent's case.

Long before the drama unfolds in the courtroom, however, your lawyer has to be ready… and that takes hard work, the painstaking mastering of all the facts of your case and of the controlling law. With over 35 years of experience, I have learned that if you are clearly ready for battle, you are more likely to work out a good settlement. If your case has to go to trial, though, you have all the more need for a seasoned, aggressive advocate in your corner.

Here I am with Jean Chatzky, the financial guru for NBC’s “Today Show.” I had the great experience of being the divorce lawyer (along with a psychiatrist and a retirement planner) on a panel discussion she moderated, sponsored by Fidelity, called “The Do’s and Don’ts of Divorce.” New appreciation for what goes into such a presentation; we put in about twelve hours of meetings and rehearsals for the fifty minute panel. Let me add that I hope none of my friends ever needs this information! Watch it here (new window).
